Coeur de Gazelles
This Rally is not an "humanitarian Rally" but a "useful Rally".
With its visibility and values, the RAG help the association "Coeur de Gazelles",recognized as general insterest association since 2001, to realize their projects.
As the others events of Maïenga, the RAG give a human and logistic support: the "Caravane Coeur de Gazelles".
This Caravan is a real itinerant clinic composed of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, opticians and logisticians.
From 2005, more than 3,000 persons are treated by the Medical Caravan crossing the southern remote areas
of Morocco located more than 100km of a clinic or an hospital. Today, the Medical Caravan provides more than 7,000 consultations per year in the following areas: general medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, ophthalmology, optics, diabetes screenings, trachoma and cataracts, as well as the pharmacy.
The association works with the Moroccan Government, supported by the Ministries Moroccan Social Development, Family and Solidarity, and Health.
Project "Coeur de Gazelles" revolves around several axes:
- Medical,
- The child welfare,
- Schooling,
- Environment - Sustainable Development
- Vocational rehabilitation of single women,
- Assistance with daily life,
- And the pleasure of pleasing with a distribution of toy.
Each year, So Colissimo and La Poste shall take over since Paris collection, sorting and delivery of gifts that Gazelles reported. Last year, 6,931 people have benefited from these donations. In order to realy meet the
uses and needs of the population, Coeur de Gazelles provided at each crew a list of necessary donations.
